LPU Summit in Chicago - Day 2
The LPU Summit in Chicago was a big success. Thanks to all of the LPU members who came out for the day, especially the ones who came a LONG way. Highlights of the event included the Music For Relief and Neighborhoodies t-shirt making event. Fans came out early and designed t-shirts that will be sent to an under privileged school in Haiti. Then, fans had the chance to watch the LP crew load in and build the stage. When activities started, some fans got a backstage tour, others got to check out the crew bus, and the rest had the chance to walk across Linkin Park's stage and check out their gear up close. To conclude the day, everyone in attendance got to meet Linkin Park and take part in a Q&A.

LPU Summit in Chicago - Day 1
Today was the first day of the LPU Summit in Chicago. We started the day off playing a pick up basketball game at the Irving Park YMCA with a few LPU members. After working up a sweat on the court, we took a break for a few hours and met up with more LPUers in Chicago's Millennium Park for ice skating. Thanks to everyone who braved the cold and came out today. Tomorrow is the Summit main event at the United Center. I'm looking forward to hanging out with all of the LPU members who will be at the Summit tomorrow. It promises to be a great day, packed full of fun activities.

At some venues free preferred parking spots will be held for those who carpool with 4 or more people per vehicle. You can save money, improve the environment and get a better parking spot by carpooling to the concert.

‘Burning In The Skies’ out March 21
Linkin Park will release their new single ‘Burning in the Skies’ on March 21st on Warner Bros. Records. The single is produced by Rick Rubin and Mike Shinoda and is taken from their critically acclaimed/multi-selling album ‘A Thousands Suns’, which was released in the UK on September 13th giving the band their fourth top five album.
Having closed 2010 with a sell-out UK arena tour and being crowned the biggest selling rock/alternative act (with over 50 million sales) by Billboard, Linkin Park have confirmed they will return to the UK in June to headline Europe’s biggest rock festival Download.
